Rainy View

Somethings not right lately. I've been overly tired and find myself struggling to stay awake at work which is not a good thing. The week end was very busy with a combination of a golf tournament, visiting friends and trying to stay dry. Everything appeared normal so I can't figure out what is going on. I don't have any visible bites that I can see so I don't thing that's it. The weather has been kind of miserable of late and I have been driving in the rain a lot. Then of course, I'm trying to cram 5 days of work into 3 1/2 to get to a long week end.

Gruesome Foursome!
(We did shoot a -3)

But the bottom line has been, that once I get home, all I want to do is sleep. However, no matter how long I sleep or nap or whatever, I wake up exhausted and just want to crawl back into bed. I'm not particularly hungry either. And this, I know, is not normal. Right now I just woke up after sleeping on and off for about 3 hours and I'm ready to go back to bed. Which I am going to do in a minute. Normally, I can function quite well on about 5-6 hours of sleep. Now more than 8 doesn't seem to cut it. It's probably nothing, but when things get out of sync, that's when it's good to be aware of what's normal and what isn't.

Little Miss Sunshine!

Could it be a combination of coming off a busy weekend of golf and fun, trying to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time, and the weather(gloomy weather does make me more tired then usual)? Just thinking of all of that makes me tired...lol.
If your body is telling you to sleep then I think you need to listen to it and sleep. It's when we don't listen to our bodies that we end up getting sick.(speaking from lots of experience :) It could be that your fighting something off.

Little Miss Sunshine is so darn cute...see, there you have some sunshine to brighten up the gloomy weather...lol.

Hope you feel back to normal soon!

PS Thank you for your very kind words and wise thoughts to my most recent post. Hugs

Sometimes when you need some sleep, you actually just need some sleep. Just stating the obvious. ;-)

That's one very cute Little Miss Sunshine.

Happy Canada Day ;-)

So when is your doctor appointment?
(The above was spoken with my Mom-voice.)

Miss Sunshine is just adorable.

Happy Canada Day, eh? :)

Depressed? Overworked?
Keep an eye on it, methinks.

Drinking lots of water? maybe coming down with something?
I hope you sort it out soon!

How lucky are you to hold that baby, is she a relation?

oh yes, Happy Canada Day!

Your "Little Miss Sunshine" looks remarkably like our granddaughter who, with her brother, is sleeping over. They're here so they could see the Canada Day fireworks -- we have a good view from our solarium.

I have sleepiness problems too -- and have had for years. But my doctor and I know the problems, for which there are no real cures. So, as Hilary says, "when is your doctor appointment?"

Hope you had a happy Canada Day otherwise, eh?

Sometimes I feel that way too...and usually for me, if I lose my appetite and I need so much sleep, it's the beginning of some kind of illness - mostly flu, though sometimes it doesn't develop into the real illness itself. So I hope you're doing fine and not getting sick.

LOVE the pics! :-)))

Hi Lori (Smiles 4U), you are welcome for the words. Sleep is good when tired, but tired all the time is not good.

Hi Michelle, yes, she is a cutie. A future heartbreaker for sure! Fun...what the hell is that?

Hey Ms Toast Burner, we had a Canada Day? Like a true Canadian....I was working eh! Now I can take the week end off...yippeee...snore!

Hello Hilary (mom), appointment and blood work tomorrow. Oh joy!

Hi Natalie, who knows. I generally view sleep as a necessary inconvenience to life. Just can't shake it, whatever it is.

Hi Lori Ann, drinking liters of water.....and coffee. Probably my brain trying to tell me something, I hope. I am adopted Uncle Bogey to that little Darling.

Hey Rob-Bear, I've been doing some research trying to see if I can identify any symptoms before I see the Doc tomorrow. I have sufferred from depression type sleep disorders before but this is nothing like that. Could be just my brain letting go or something like that.

Hello Amel, no flu. This I have been very well aquainted with.

We'll see James. I've been extremely busy lately, which I like of course. I'm just not used to getting kicked like this. Actually, it's usually insomnia that gets a hold of me more than this sleep stuff.

I think it's the constant cloud and rain!

Well, I just hope the problem isn't "terminal humanity."

What a weird thing. I just read a piece on here about memories and letting go. It was excellently written and so relatable. I tried to comment and when I did, it disappeared. What a shame if you just deleted it because it was beautiful!

Haha! When did you change comments to "Bogey Bites"? I like it, and think it's funny.

Talking about exhaustion. At first I thought that was not me, but this weekend I took naps on saturday and sunday! Which is unusual for me. I must have caught the virus from you! Hahaha!
