I don't watch the news because it is just too painful for me. Here in my town, a little girl was starved and tortured in a back bedroom of a house. The case went to court this week. So horribly sad and scary.xx♥
I just can't believe the horror that are some people.
Bogey, these things are beyond belief! I am overwhelmed with sadness for the child, her family and our society. I just don't get it - good people have short life spans, while evil people live forever. There is something terribly wrong with that!
I guess we are Natalie. I took the time to read the story online in an Australian Newspaper, The Daily Telegraph. That was a very horrific story as well. Please keep me posted about the progress of the trial. Last night a 5 year old girl was shot in a drive-by shooting in the Toronto area. It kills me to think that whatever sentence is handing out to these people, they will, at some point, still have some freedom. Here at least, if deemed a dangerous offender, they will never see the light of day.
You are so right LOL. It's hard to say who is worse, the criminal, or the lawyer defending them.
Audrey, you have no idea how true your words are. I've often wondered how my father managed to survive to this day given his past. It just boggles the imagination.
